The Cavalli Function Venue is a Green Star Rated building conveniently situated on the R44 highway below the majestic Helderberg Mountains. The function venue has been designed as a flexible space that tailors itself to events of any scale or nature. Cavalli Estate’s modern architecture is designed to capitalize on the natural climate and environment, with a dramatic stone façade upon entrance that reveals beyond it a voluminous space able to seat 350 people.

Four metre high ceilings clad in imported Scandinavian Oak accentuate the sweeping roof overhang which intersects the floor to ceiling glass doors and affords an unprecedented quality of natural light, natural ventilation and framed views of the breathtaking mountains.

The main wedding venue is characterized by its contemporary and neutral design, able to be adapted to the style of your event, with adequate space to seat 300 people or alternatively 600 people for a standing cocktail event. The floor to ceiling sliding-glass doors afford gorgeous natural light, ventilation and views over the water towards the breathtaking mountains of the Cape Winelands. The venue has a world-class sound and lighting system.

The sunken garden is a formal, hedged space situated adjacent to the main function venue. The green enclosure is the perfect space for an outdoor wedding ceremony or pre- reception drinks with live entertainment. The space seats up to 300 cinema-style or 400 people standing and is equipped with connection points for a bedouin tent which is available for hire.

The Conservatory is an intimate, glass-enclosed private dining area right on the waters edge. It takes advantage of the stunning mountain views and a 60 year old Fuschia Pink Pride Of India tree that blooms abundantly over the summer season. The area accommodates 150 guests theatre-style for indoor wedding ceremonies. Alternatively the space is perfect for up to 70 guests seated banqueting-style to enjoy a private lunch or dinner. The venue is also dividable into 3 separate spaces as break-away rooms.
