The Conservatory at The Cellars-Hohenort

At The Conservatory, guests may expect an eclectic, light and abundant menu, featuring uncomplicated yet perfectly executed food served in the most idyllic garden setting.

The restaurant boasts stunning views of our historical garden with its ancient Camphor trees; and the terrace overlooking the garden.

The Conservatory team has created a classic menu with a focus on firm favourites, including some of Liz McGrath’s personal recipes.

From Cellar's Classic Ceasar Salad, Five Spice Soft Shell-Crab or Outeniqua Springbok Loin, the menu has something for everyone. With a special lightness to dishes such as her signature Boland Double Baked Cheese Soufflé with Parmesan, Gin Cheese Sauce.

Working in perfect harmony with the natural setting, The Conservatory incorporates fresh produce picked from our very own gardens whenever possible, including local fynbos.

Classic High Tea is of course another favourite, and The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel & Spa is the perfect place to enjoy our special Cellar’s Classic High Tea with friends and loved ones.
