Punjab Express serves Punjabi food as it should be, slow cooked with freshly ground spices and deep delicious flavours. Situated in the Westlake Business Park in Tokai, this authentic Indian restaurant is known has a reputation as the best in the Southern Suburbs. The restaurant is owned and managed by a family determined to share their exotic yet subtle Punjab cuisine with their customers. Unlike many Indian restaurants, they do not use stir in sauces and excess oil, but import organic spices from Delhi and focus on serving traditional Indian food which is wholesome and full of flavour.
The Punjab Express menu is traditionally and authentically Indian and includes all the well known and loved favourites such as tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, samosas, shammi kabab, calamari Punjab style, paneer tikka, chicken, lamb, seafood and vegetarian curries, biryani, naan, roti and an array of Indian desserts. They have also recently added banting-friendly curries with cauliflower mash (instead of rice) to their repertoire. Their special cumin lemonade is popular with customers and they also make their own fresh natural yoghurt lassi. In addition to all this, they serve Truth coffee - said to be the best in town - to finish off your meal.
