This delightful, popular, refurbished Camps Bay restaurant opened its doors back in 2001 and has been a hit ever since. Its excellent view of the ocean and palm trees on the strip make it the obvious place to frequent for breakfast which is served until 12:30, brunch, light meals throughout the day, early dinners or for sunset cocktails.
Café Caprice is a casual eatery with a relaxed vibe, offering loads of outside seating, tables and loungers inside as well as a bar where people can eat on their own when space is limited. It is well known for its Breakfast menu especially the Eggs Benedict and French Toast as well as its Burgers, rumoured to be the first Gourmet type burger introduced back in the day.
Also popular for Main Courses some of the firm favourites are Patagonian Calamari, Classic Fish & Chips, Rib Eye Espetada or Chicken Espetada. Caprice has something for every palette and for the “not so hungry who want to share a meal” Nachos is another top option.
There is live entertainment over the weekends only and the venue can be booked out for special events.
Situated in Victoria Road, the scenic drive that runs from Bantry Bay through to Llandudno, this restaurant can be reached from both Sea Point and Hout Bay, simply by following the Main Road. You'll find Cafe Caprice on the left (from Sea Point) or the right (from Hout Bay).
