I am a regular client Booked a round table outsideService appalling. Begged fir wine glasses ice and menus. Asked for entire order to be served at same time. Arrived in drips and drabs Got up and even went into kitchen Ster an hour to find out what gives Embarrassing for me and my clientsPortions smaller than everLost a good customer of over 2 decades

Good traditional Chinese food. Starters very very tasty and wellPriced. For main we had whole duck and what a treat!!! Loved it !! The staff is friendly and looks very happy!!

First visit... will be going back soon. Peking duck with pancakes, certainly a great choice. Menu offers a variety for all. Fascinating dishes... and delicious tastes.

We have frequented The Red Chamber since its opening and today was a great travesty. the pot stickers were raw. The peking duck ok with pancakes sticking to each other.The lemon chicken so bland with no hint of sweetness or taste of lemon. the rice was overcooked and they forgot to season the noodles. Not one of our dishes were tasted before sending it out. We will not visit this restaurant ever again as I feel I could do much better myself. our server was unfriendly and its only my good manners that left her a tip

The location within Hyde Park has changed but not the quality of the food experience. We visited with friends and had a fairly wide assortment of their dishes from starter to dessert and were all pleased with the consistent quality.Prawn toasts and spring rolls were both enjoyed as also the Peking Duck an old favourite which still pleases. The wine list lacks the two ideal wines for chinese food Gewurztraminer and german Riesling both of which have a slight sweetness to complement the food.As is normal for a chinese meal it is best shared with friends to give a wider choice and improve the experience.

I'd skip it. Way overrated Chinese food. I think there are many alternatives offering far better value

Enjoyable Chinese food made a great birthday evening. My friend loves Chinese food so we searched Trip Advisor and came up with The Red Chamber. It was a good choice. We sat inside which gives more of a regular ‘restaurant’ feel than a ‘sitting in a mall’ experience. I had the duck which was in a lovely sauce with veggies. I would recommend this place.

Always a great experience. We have been to The Red Chamber a number of times and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

Group of 8, ordered tons of food. Steamed fish over cooked and tough. Forgot to bring some dishes kept having to ask for service. Didn’t refresh water. Food greasy and asked for minimum heat veggies. They were ridiculously hot and inedible. Had we not been with a crowd I’d have complained. Don’t go.

Just took a client here from Singapore.Great food and great service. Was served by a really nice lady originally from Shanghai - such wonderful service and great recommendations in terms of food. My client felt instantly at home.Had two sizzling kinglip dishes with egg fried rice and stirfry vegetables.Food came quickly and was a decent size portion.Will be back !
