Hamiltons Restaurant

I can't praise this restaurant highly enough and can't understand why this was our first visit - but it certainly won't be the last! Everything was perfect - from making the booking, fabulous food and excellent service from friendly and efficient staff. Did I mention the Christmas menu was amazing and so delicious. We will be back for sure.

the service and food at Hamiltons was not what it use to be, service was slow and quality of food poor. I ordered the prawns which were dry and overcooked, the chips were oily. My son ordered pizza and they say they had run out, we then ordered chicken strips and 3 tiny pieces arrived. Our waiter really tried and was apologetic.

I just got back from the restaurant (October 10, 2020).. The food was delicious.. Our order came out quick despite one of it being a lamb shank. It was delicious.. it fell off the bone. The prawns were the winner for me.. delicious and great value and quality for the price. What really made my mom's day (since I had taken her out for her birthday lunch) was Welcome and Sakhile.. Those 2 are an asset to the restaurant. Excellent service and they wear a smile like it's their second skin. Well done Hamilton's Restaurant and Thank you for helping us create beautiful memories.

Food and servise was great and well priced. We ate supper there twice in one weekend. Nice views and the gardens very nead.

Dinner at Hamilton’s is always an event to look forward to!Menu selection is excellent, the staff are friendly and efficient, looking after us very nicely. The food was of the high standard that we associate with a Hamilton’s. We will never pass up an opportunity to dine here!

We ate here twice - both times the food was very good. I had steak for my first meal, it was cooked perfectly and was tender and full of flavour. Second visit I had a Pizza - it was perfect, service was a little on the slow side, however the food (which is what matters), was Fab!

We enjoyed the wide variety of food available on the menu. It is a good option to eat when staying at the lodge or nearby which is not srlf-catering. Nice rustic atmosphere, sitting outside in the terrace. Good food, good price

We had a first evening dinner in Hamilton's and took also 2nd evening Dinner since we had great Steak night before but no Pizza. We saw Pizza served and had to try it. And it was very good Pizza as well, and also great Hamburger. Ambiente sitting on Veranda outside is great. We can recommend the place for Dinner with any kind of food they offer!

They decorated our table with flowers and were most obliging. There is a relatively small menu but what we had was excellent. Steak and twice cooked pork. It wasn’t expensive. They have accommodation too and being right by Malalene gate they would provide a great base for exploring the southern part of Krueger.
