The Hussar Grill rooms have been award-winning purveyors of the finest South African steak and game cuts since 1964. In addition to the super grade, grain fed beef cuts such as fillet, rump, sirloin and T-Bones, they also offer the following matured and hung game species: Kudu, Springbok, Gemsbok and Eland and Ostrich. These cuts are subject always to hunt and season.
Recommendations for starters include the Steak Tartare and grilled (or deep-friend) Calamari. For main course, popular choices are the Chateaubriand with béarnaise sauce, the Hollandse Biefstuk, and the Hog Ribs. For those who do not eat meat, there is also fresh fish from nearby Gordon’s Bay on the menu, as well as a substantial vegetarian platter option.
