The Hussar Grill - Paarl

Hussar grill creates a sophisticated atmosphere with a guaranteed perfect steak. Portions are filling, but will not let one feel stuffed so feel free to enjoy a starter and leave space for a delicious dessert. My wife and I went for dinner and there was no covid prococols followed when we arrived. Our Jong male waitor wasn't bad, but the food was horrible a sad lonely burnt steak on a big white plate with nothing els with it and then you pay Exstra for 10 McCain for en chips with no seasoning on it and then to top it off the really disgusting "truffle chip" what a joke.We will not be going back.

The setting is good the food and service was a disappointment. One of my worst dining experiences I have ever had.

Friday evening we went out with friends to celebrate the weekend and to just relax and have a great meal and festive time. What a rude awakening it was, the service we received was poor and really put a damper on the evening. It became clear to us that the restaurant is completely understaffed.We ordered our food just to wait an excess of an hour, then the order was mixed up the restaurant members had a raffle at the table with what plate of food belongs to how. I don’t mind waiting a long time for food but then I expect good quality, our food was cold, burnt and just plain pathetic!If you come pair the experience with the price, the two is not getting close to one another. Unfortunately I will never put my foot at or recommend anyone to dine at Hussar Grill Paarl.You deserve better.

Unfortunately the place really need a very good revamp,food OK,but ordinary Steakhouse type of food.Service not up to standard.Not sure if we'll be back

The Hussar Grill is a very consistent quality dining experience and we have always been very pleased with our food. The service is attentive and friendly. It is not cheap meal but most certainly quality food and worth the price. Remember to make a reservation

The food was really good as was the service unfortunately it was very hot inside and there was no aircon where we were sitting , the outside was fully booked, also there was no music so all we could hear was the staff discussing tables and orders which took away a bit of the charm, it would have been good to have some background music and also some ventilation or air conditioning,

Once again, the best Steaks ever..... Beautiful seating outside and delicious food. The Bitter Ballen for a starter was absolutely fantastic... and the. The Madagascar pepper Fillet and veggies went down just right.. will definitely eat here again when visit Paarl

We all enjoyed delicious pizzas and burgers at the Goatshed. The Deli offers amazing farm baked breads and a tasty variety of cheeses. We enjoyed filling a basket with some of our favorites. The goats are entertaining and quite precious - their tower and bridge is well set-up and interesting to view. Beautiful bird life and squirrels surround the outdoor seating area at the Goatshed. A super experience for all ages!

Recommended by Wildepaardejacht, the B&B where we stayed. Superb food & great service. Wine selection excellent & prices reasonable from a UK perspective. We would definitely return
