The Cricketer Restaurant is a family owned restaurant by Tyron & Alison Henderson and is tucked away on the 2 Swans Wedding Farm only 17km from East London. Themed with cricket memorabilia, Tyron being an ex-professional cricketer, the restaurant is tastefully decorated with a great atmosphere and ambiance.
The Cricketer specialises in Steaks, but has a dish to suite everyone’s pallet. Try the Caught & Bowled, a 250g Sirloin with 3 King Prawns, or the Sticky Wicket, a 350g Rump topped with a Mushroom Sauce & Biltong. We have a Winter and Summer menu, which brings variation to our patrons. The kitchen staff are headed by Marc Nelson, who has been with the team for 5 years, and the front of house staff are all well trained and efficient.
We pride ourselves with homemade and fresh ingredients and our homemade Ice Cream is a must try. Our sauces are all homemade as are our desserts. Food and service is our passion and you won’t be disappointed.
From East London, travel on the N2 towards Gonubie. Take exit 1060 for R102 toward East London/Brakfontein. Turn right onto the R102. After 1.8kms, turn left onto Schafli Road.
