Pavilion Italian Restaurant

Claudia Lotz and her family opened the Pavilion Italian Restaurant in 1982 and it has since attracted a loyal group of regulars. The Pavilion is in a stunning position on the Uvongo Beach in Kwazulu Natal, a popular sub-tropical beach. The restaurant has spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and the lagoon, and the choice of indoor and outdoor seating means it's a great spot for all seasons.

 

As the name suggests, the Pavilion specialises in Italian cuisine but they also offer great seafood dishes. Menu favourites include the Chicken Cordon Bleu, the Lumache in Garlic Butter, the Livers Peri-Peri and any of the Burgers.

 

Beach-goers flock to the restaurant after a day in the sun for refreshing cocktails on the outside deck and lunch or dinner. The restaurant also has a takeaway downstairs which serves a variety of ice cream and soft serve - great for a quick bite whilst you work on your tan.
