Family run Madeira Seafood, Steakhouse & Pub is a household name for many locals in Bergvliet, Cape Town. Your hosts, Floripes and Hendrik Horne welcome you to their relaxed and cosy Portuguese-Madeiran restaurant, for the perfect dinning out experience with friends and family alike.

The menu is comprised of traditional Madeiran dishes where Floripes grew up as a young girl and the local influence in the menu is Hendrik’s domain. (Hendrik is an avid Blue Bull’s fan.) The extensive selection of freshly prepared traditional Madeiran dishes is always available including fish, poultry, and their famous “Trinchado” meat options.

Floripes will always have a friendly smile to offer as manager, Hendrik can be found in the kitchen cooking up a storm. The restaurant is comprised of a dining and pub area (non-smoking) and an alfresco covered patio and pub (smoking permitted) perfect for those warm summer days. Children are welcome under adult supervision.
