Lal Qila is a restaurant depicting the legendary grandeur of splendid and noble past - a vivid and conspicuous realization of the glory of our brilliant aesthetic essence. Adorned with the courtesy of Mughlai era, we offer you the chance to dine out enjoying authentic Mughlai, Tandoori, Live Bar-B-Que & Traditional Pakistani/Indian cuisine. Our menu is substantial and there are 72 freshly cooked dishes and an “eat as much as you wish” option. We are now open for lunch and offer an A la carte menu.

The name Lal Qila, meaning “Red Fort”, was the residence of the Mughal emperor for nearly 200 years, until 1857, constructed in 1648 by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the palace of his fortified capital Shahjahanabad. The Red Fort’s innovative architectural style, including its' garden design, influenced later buildings and gardens in Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Kashmir, Braj, Rohilkhand and elsewhere. As it's architectural design depicts the medley of influence, so does the Lal Qila restaurant’s menu resonate with its history. The menu represents the harmonious blend of dishes and cuisines from a wide variety of areas, from Rajasthan, Punjab, Kashmir, Braj to upper Punjab which is now Pakistan.

Our imported well qualified chefs are from the master class of the original Lal Qila restaurant, Karachi Pakistan. The imported spices, herbs, basmati rice, corn fed chicken and AAA grade meat, when cooked by highly skilled chefs gives you a gastronomique odyssey into the Royal courts of Mugal emperors lavish “Dasterkhuon” banquet spread.

The live cooking demonstration, tandoori grill aroma and hustle & bustle means that a meal in this beautifully decorated restaurant is a Mughalai royal experience. All items are freshly cooked in front of you to guarantee the freshness and taste of all dishes. Come and indulge the gastromonique extravaganza at Lal Qila. To avoid disappointment, please book in advance.
