Hillcrest Berry Orchards is one of those establishments that once discovered, it makes it hard to resist a second visit. Not only does it offer an exceptionally wholesome menu for breakfast, lunch and teas, but also has a farm shop and deli, which displays an impressive selection of top quality products that taste as good as they look. The tea garden was originally started as a way of showcasing the jams, dessert toppings and fresh berries produced by Hillcrest. While the scones, berry muffins and baked cheesecake remain firm favourites, today the menu offers a wonderful selection of healthy meals which are prepared, as far as possible, using certified organic products.
New this summer is the opening on Saturdays and Sundays of an Upper Terrace, situated above the restaurant with even more panoramic views across the valley. Here guests can relax under their own gazebo while enjoying a leisurely light lunch or high tea. Advance booking for this venue is essential and the venue is only available for functions.
The Upper Terrace is also available for small daytime functions. More details upon enquiry.
