Hillcrest Berry Orchards Restaurant

I recently visited with my husband and folks. We did not have a reservation.We were quickly assisted by friendly staff.The outside setting of this restaurant is so lovely with a breathtaking view . Food was great. Portion size was a bit small but very tasty. We will definetly be returning to this little hidden gem . Thanks to all the staff that made our experience so great :)

The food is always delicious with excellent service and phenomenal views! We went for a birthday, where they treated us to a cheesecake and the birthday girl got a little present of some jams. The food is delicious, and you simply can’t go to Hillcrest Berry Orchard without trying some scones

We arrived in Stellenbosch and we desperate for some food. We found this place tucked away but serving food. I had their pasta and my wife had a burger. My pasta was probably the best pasta I've had. Smoothies were tasty as an alternative to desert. Definitely worth a visit.

The best scones ever! Melts in your mouth and stunning views. They have the most extensive range of berries grown in South Africa that you can buy frozen or fresh (seasons Depending)

We went for brekfist on a sunny Saturday morning, were well received but couldn’t sit outside as the tables didn’t have umbrellas, ok it was windy so inside was fine, but disappointing. We both ordered homemade muesli, and yogurt with seasonal berries. Only 3 blueberries were served on a very SMALL portion of muesli and yogurt. They accommodated my wife’s allergy for sesame seeds by giving her extra berries in the place of the muesli. But only 3 blueberreis at a berrie farm, thats really disappointing! The decaf coffee I’ve ordered was not drinkable, it was burnt, meaning it was bitter and tasted badly. We were serviced by 3 waiters. When I mentioned the berries, it was said that’s how they serve it, the coffe wasn’t charged for by the 3rd waiter servicing us. The shop was quite nice with a good selection of fresh and frozen berries for sale at a reasonable price. You are not allowed to see any of the farmland where the berries grow. I think this berrie farm has so much potential but its not exploited right now. I would like to give it a much better review next time, as I will try it once more.

We had a wondeful brunch here for my mom's birthday. They accommodated certain adjustments to my order as I am vegetarian. While serving the bubbly the waitress overheard that we were celebrating a birthday and gave my mom a surprise cheesecake with happy birthday written in chocolate. Overall a very pleasant experience with stunning views.

I have been there a few time with friends and always experienced excellent service,friendly staff and good food.

This restaurant and shop has great views over vines and fruit orchards. It sits high up off the R310 before you get to Tokara and Delaire, coming from Pniel. It serves good smoothies and scones. Ideal for a quick bite and drink if you are not too hungry. Inside and outside areas - we always sit outside and enjoy the views. The shop sells their own frozen berries, jams galore, other gift items. We always buy jams and fruit here!

We had a lovely afternoon relaxing at this beautiful place with wonderful service. Best views!!! This is a place to visit with friends or alone with a book.
