Located on the waterfront Pierhead, a stones throw away from the waters edge, Ginja restaurant is situated in the front of the iconic Victoria & Alfred Hotel at the V & A waterfront.
Ginja adds a new dimension to coffee enjoyment with the launch of Native Coffee within the restaurant. Created by Capetonian Murray Lloyd, who roasts his own carefully selected coffee beans, Native Coffee offers the quintessential experience in coffee appreciation. Native will serve coffee from 6h30 all day at Ginja. You can also buy Native coffee beans to take home. The espresso bar will also serve a small artisanal take away food menu.
The trendy and relaxed bar area is the ideal spot to meet with friends or colleagues and indulge in one Cape Town’s notorious sunsets. Appreciate the organic textures in wood, stone and textiles in muted natural colours, the décor is enhanced by accents of metal and clever, ambient lighting.
Head northwest on Nelson Mandela Boulevard. Merge onto Nelson Mandela Boulevard/N1/N2. Continue onto Buitengracht Street/M62.
Use the right 3 lanes to turn right onto Helen Suzman Boulevard/M6. At the 1st traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Granger Bay Boulevard. Then at the 2nd traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on Granger Bay Boulevard. Continue onto Jetty Street and at the 3rd traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Breakwater Boulevard. Turn left and then turn right at the 1st cross street. Turn right and then turn left. Ginja Restaurant will be on the left.
