From Pretoria to Johannesburg: Route - Ben Schoeman (approx. 35km/30min) Pass
the Woodmead off-ramp. Turn off the Marlborough off-ramp. Turn right under the highway. Turn right at the second set of traffic lights into Katherine Ave. At the second set of traffic lights this changens name to "Bowling
Avenue" at the South Road Intersection. Carry on straight through
another two sets of traffic lights and then turn left at the next road
into Alma Road. (Note that the Alma sign is in the right hand side of
the road. There is however, an Ullman Park sign on the left, which is
easy to see). Go through Boom Control, then down Alma road (keeping right) 500 metres
until you see the Fairlawns sign on the right hand side.
From
Johannesburg to Pretoria: Route - Ben Schoeman (approx. 15km/20min) Pass
Wynberg off-ramp. Turn off at the Marlborough off-ramp. Turn left at the
traffic lights at the bottom of the off-ramp. Down to the next traffic
lights. Turn right into Katherine Ave. At the second set of traffic lights
this changes name to "Bowling Ave." at the south Road intersection.

turn left at the next road into Alma Road. (Note that Alma sign is on

Rivonia to Sandton City: Route - Rivonia Road (approx. 5km/10min) Pass
BMW (garage) on the left. Pass the Cullinan Hotel. Turn left into South
Road. Go down the hill to the traffic lights, turn left into Bowling Ave.
Go through two traffic lights; turn left at the next road (Alma Road).
(Note that the Alma sign is on the right hand side of the road, therefore
is it difficult to see. There is, however, an Ullman Park sign on the left

Sandton City towards Rivonia: Route - Rivonia Road (approx 5km/10min) Pass
City Lodge; turn right into South Road at the Shell Garage. Go down the
hill to the traffic lights, turn left into Bowling Ave. Go through two
traffic lights; turn left at the next road (Alma Road). (Note that the
Alma sign is in the right hand side of the road which is difficult to
see. There is an Ullman Park sign on the left, which is easy to see).
Go through the Boom Control, then down Alma Road (keeping right) 500 metres
until you see the Farilawns on the right hand side.
From
Johannesburg International to Fairlawns (approx 25km/20min) On
leaving the Airport, take the R24 to Johannesburg. You stay on the highway
until you see signs to Pretoria. Get onto the N3 to Pretoria. Take the
Marlborough off-ramp and turn left. Carry on along this road until you get
to a T-Junction.
This is Bowling Ave. Turn right and go through 4 sets of Traffic lights.
After the 4th set of traffic lights, you need to turn left into Alma Road.
Go through the Boom Control, then down Alma Road (keeping right) 500 metres
until you see the Fairlawns on the right hand side.
