A journey for the taste buds, every dish was great and adventurous., really enjoyed the experience.. great service.. tapas style, sharing had 3 dishes between 2 and a side of the most crispy roast potatoes

Great culinary experience. Located within a stunning backdrop, this restaurant offer a great menu, unless you are vegetarian which we felt not very accommodating or the staff knew what to do or say when asked. Although the starters were vegetarian, do not expect a vegetarian menu or main. The rest of the menu was absolutely delicious. I will never be able to eat pig again after trying their dish! Absolutely perfect. Dishes were rich in flavor and beautifully decorated/presented. Try to avoid a really hot day cause could be rather uncomfortable. We were looking forward their chicken dish but was not available despite being mentioned on the online menu. They also got me the wrong desert but at this point with the heat, we just wanted to leave and I still managed to enjoy the dessert given. Highly recommended.

We went to this place 2018 and then found it a bit stuffy. What a nice surprise 2020 with a modern, interesting menu. Like Babylonstoren, most from the farm. Nice staff and loads of wine helped this very nice dinner.

This setting at the lovely Boschendal Werf Restaurant is one of the most relaxing and tranquil experiences ever. With friendly waiters and complimentary melktert for everyone after our amazing carrot and chocolate cake sharing, I would def recommend this and go back every time I get the opportunity. Just lovely!

We booked this four months ago and also paid 400 Rand in advance. We don't know what happened but the service was so slow ... it took 45 min before we had wine on the table, 60 min before the starter arrived. After 1.5 hours nothing more had happened, we felt pretty forgotten! The tables around got food but we didn't ... then we left! The waiter apologized and looked sincerely sorry. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurang to anyone right now, they need to step up alot!!!

We were lucky to have fantastic weather and managed to get a table on the outside deck, overlooking the well-groomed garden. Our waiter Eric, was a sweetheart. It took us a couple of minutes to understand how the menu worked. Suffice to say he is a very patient man :) The food and service did not disappoint. Next time we want to do a picnic!

What a absolute delight The Werf Restaurant's evening market was! A wide variety of produce, products, food, drinks and decor was available. Huge scatter cushions and chairs dotted under huge Oak trees. Lights in the trees and the stalls set the tone for a absolute magical evening!

We had trout and 60 day steak to share between myself and my son, absolutely worth every sent we paid the best food ever. And the service was excellent Thank you
