“This is definately a winner!”
This is definately a winner! Staff is very well informed about the composition of the dishes, helpful and friendly. The food was even better than our expectations, every dish was prepared to the best. Very well priced. This will be our go-to restaurant in PE

“Super food!”
The take-away menu caters for all tastes and I was more than impressed with the beef curry we ordered. The meat was well prepared, trimmed of excess fat and gristle, and not a bone in sight! The flavouring of the curry was superb, the basmati rice cooked to perfection - in fact it was a mouth-watering treat, which had spurred me on to repeat the experience, ...soon.

“Going the extra mile”
Revisiting the restaurant & introducing my hubby to their delicious food was a wise decision. I ordered my forever curry (butter chicken & prawn curry). My husband choosed the chicken & prawn curry. He asked for mussels to be added to his curry and was in seventh heaven when he tasted his food. Thank you Koshin & Krish for making us feel so welcome and being prepared to cater to my husband's request.

“EVERYTHING ROYAL ABOUT THIS PLACE”
Excellent cuisine, food is of the highest standards.. Must book a table upfront tho. They are fully booked most of the time. The MUST try is their crab curry , call upfront to check if they have ..Krish ~the owner ~ will make a plan for you. Sambals & pampudums is divine too.

“Find your forever curry at the Royal Delhi”
I have always been apprehensive to visit an Indian restaurant, as I do not like overly spicy food. What a wonderful experience I had visiting this establishment! From the moment we entered until the moment we left, was a delight. The owner/manager, Koshin, greets everyone very friendly and visits every table to make sure that everyone has a great time. We shared samoosas (vegetable, as well as mince) as a starter and they were some of the best samoosas I have ever tasted. My daughter opted for the Oxtail curry & her boyfriend and I had the Butter chicken & prawn. The oxtail was fall-off-the-bone tender - my daughter could eat it with a spoon (& she did). The Butter chicken & prawn was divine and as my daughter & her boyfriend said - they have both found their forever curry. For me, both curries were delicious and I find it difficult to make a choice. Being a Creme Bruleé addict, I ended off my meal with the Creme Bruleé. All I can say is WOW!! The dessert was not overly sweet and had the perfect layer of caramelised sugar. All in all it was a wonderful experience. If you are in Port Elizabeth and want to find your forever curry, pay a visit to the Royal Delhi. It is an absolute must.

“A truly fantastic curry experience”
Excellent service! Was greeted by the owner and the waiters warmly. Table and venue decor very anesthetic and quite romantic too. They prepared our meals with care and it tasted really amazing. Roetie also tasted just like my granny makes them. It is now our favorite spot, because we both love curries!

“Not Indian food”
Order two meals. Tikka panner, which was dry and tiny, looked like the panner was store bought and dipped in masala oil. It was more of a panner skewer... The Dhal Makhani was tasteless. As for the naan, was a poor attempt at miss shaped roti. I’ll give credit to the guys for organising a take away and having it ready. However, what is described online is really not a reality when it comes to the food.

“Excellent Atmoshere and Food”
We visited the Restaurant the first time on a Thursday evening. It was quite full. Staff was friendly and the food was excellent. We had beef and lam curry, the chillibites and a soup as a starter. A bottle of wine was included in the all overall price incl. tip of R770,- . We will come back with some friends in the near future.
