Mario's Italian Restaurant

This is by far my favourite restaurant in Cape Town. The owners are like family, the food is incredible, the atmosphere is perfect and thats what keeps me going back. I love everything and everyone there.

We went on our first date night in a loooong time, have 2 kids under 4. We love Italian food and was excited to drive through but felt like we were bothering the waiters and not welcome at all.Rude service, fair food-not worthwhile.As a hospitality professional and chef myself, I have alot of respect for chefs and waiters who put in alot of work and long hours but on my worst day, I would never treat a customer in such a manner...Delicious Melanzane though.Word of advice-do not get over confident, the customer still matters and the essence of hospitality was not what we experienced...Definitely won't be back.
