Indian Summer(Temporarily Closed)

We recently joined friends for the first time at the Indian Summer restaurant for a Sunday lunch. Although the decor is sparse the beautiful sea views make up for it. Our waitress was most attentive and patient with our orders and gave us valuable advice regarding her recommendations and the "spice" level of each dish. The food was excellent, with big enough portions and just at the right level of "spiciness" as requested by all. We ended the meal by sharing their delicious condense milk ice - cream. We look forward to coming back again and trying some other dishes from their wide menu.

A large group of us met here for a curry lunch.The waiter handled the various orders & bills without any fuss.Food was delicious & well priced.Would definitely recommend

Visited Indian Summer for supper with a group of 16 family. Excellent starters and mains and very well prepared. Good veg offerings. However, waiting periods can be long and many items on the dessert menu are not available.

We had the best curries ever here; the food was exceptional, we ordered a whole lot of different curries and tried them all, the garlic naan was awesome and we had fantastic service to say the least; I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants and exceptional and authentic curry.

I wanted to treat my sister and her husband to a dinner for her 50th birthday. After going through many reviews online of various restaurants, I booked Indian Summer. My sister was completely blown away by the delicious food, hospitality and friendly service that she received. She said that this was one of the best dinners she had eaten out. Anand (the manager) does his utmost to ensure that guests are comfortable. It isn’t easy to find a restaurant that serves meals of good value and flavour at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Authentic Indian cuisine and ambience. Good service and tasty food. We enjoyed a great family meal at very affordable prices.

My wife’s and I heard about this place and thought it would be great to try it. First time we went on a Saturday night just around 8. And we got the worst service ever. The lady who seems to be the owner said they close cos they couldn’t be bothered. They seem to have made their money for the day so just didn’t care. We said let’s not be pity if others said it’s worth trying. We said let’s go. Second time. We booked and we finally got served but the service is little to be desired... The food...how should I put it... I felt like the food was cooked and learnt from YouTube video Indian food. The taste was so bland and even when u added chili, the chili had more taste than the curry. We ordered the vindaloo and it was just not anywhere like a vindaloo. I would say don’t waste your time and money. Even a chain like the Raj has better taste... and I’m not a fan of the Raj.... that just says a lot. Rather try Bombay blues. Food authentic and service is awesome.

Very well prepared meals. Try the South Indian dishes. Perfect for a light meal or snack. A good variety of vegetarian dishes on the menu.

Friends recommended Indian Summer and said their Butter Chicken is a must - and I was not disappointed! The food is a nice mix of Indian and Asian (Indo-Chinese) choices... I don't usually go for vegetarian options, but I had a fantastic Gobi (cauliflower) starter, and the other vegetarian options sounded very appealing. The Butter Chicken I had for my main course had a lovely tomato flavour without being overpowering, and the Madras Lamb was also very tasty. We ordered Naan and a bowl of rice, and it was plenty food for 2 people, without costing the earth. The decor was simple and clean, but could do with a few tweaks to create a more intimate ambiance. I'll definitely be back!
