We ordered a take away and was very disappointed. Firstly overpriced for what you get (small portion sizes) for example R110 for tikka chicken which is 6 cubes of chicken with portion of rice. Secondly ordered vegetable korma, would expect fresh vegetables to be used but looked like it was made with frozen mixed vegetables and charged R80 for this (no rice included). We will not order here again.

There are certain dishes you can Onlyrajesh find in this restaurant like Okra fry and papdam. However stick with only the North Indian cuisine since I tried to dosa and it wasn’t that great. Okra fry was pretty good though.

An excellent go-to spot for take out but also an affordable and humble dining experience with friendly service and delicious food.

The restaurant is a typical North/South Indian restaurant. The reason I say this is because at this restaurant offers food from both the North and South Indian regions giving a wide variety to choose from. The quality of the food is excellent and is of extremely good taste and is good value for money. The restaurant is well located in close proximity to Sandton and on the roadside with ample parking.

I am visiting Johannesburg with some friends for few days, we tried couple of Indians food joints around my hotel at Nelson Mandela Square however food was tasteless and expensive. We came here for dinner looking at the reviews on Trip advisor and we are not disappointed. Food price is very reasonable and quantity and quality of food and service is more than the price you pay!We are coming here every evening for dinner and having awsome food on each visit. The proportion, variety and taste of food is just perfect.The location of this restaurant is only 10-15 minutes walk from Nelson Mandela Square.PS: Our server Sandep Kumar was humble, friendly and ever-smiling!

My favorit curry house in Jo'burg. Friendly staff, great menu and good value. The Vindaloo hot lamb sheek keebabs are amazing! The CHicken Tikka Vindaloo is incredible! They just needs to get am Indian beer in like Cobra or Kingfisher and its a 5/5 from me.

It’s a good option for leisure dinner. Ambience was fine. Food options were decent and food quality, quantity and taste were good. Nice one to satisfy the taste buds....

Very tasty curry, good service. I had the lamb vindaloo which was excellent just as good as a London curry house. Would have given 5 rating if they had decent beer on tap.

One of the worst Indian restaurants I've ever eaten in. My paneer makhani tasted off and the paneer was hard. I pointed this out to the manager who took the food away and brought me the bill (which included the dish). The service was also poor and the kitchen looked dirty when I walked past it en route to the bathroom. Disgusting - do not eat here. Go to Punjabi Tadka a bit further down the street.
