Da Graziella Ristorante - Pizzeria

Sunday afternoon lunch at this local Italian restaurant. Food and service was superb. We had a cannelloni and pollo penne special, chilled bottle of merlot. Dessert was cappuccino's. Pricing is on the high side, but well worth it.

We go there on special occasions because it is a bit pricey but their food is so delicious it's definitely worth the treat.

Despite some folk angry, Oi! I have feasted in Italian Restaurants from Rome to Napoli, from London to Auckland, from Rio to Johannesburg, and in-between, and Da Graziella is always tops, never disappoints! Lunch yesterday was a masterpiece. A plate arrived of perfectly grilled melanzane (brinjal), succulent zucchini (baby marrows), and an accompanying, slightly sweetish tomato relish that began an applause of cuisine-delux! What a brilliant way to open the appetite! Our main course was pasta - a panzerotti clothed in subtle chicken bits, parmesan and pistachio, resting on a requested small helping of cream, had pupils dilated, and added joy to the conversation. My choice was a special of linguine, awash with sea food - perfect! Nothing over-powered and all the ingredients blended and complemented each other: from calamari to peeled prawns in a subtle sea of tomato-the-Italian-way. Bravo! Will always return to your restaurant for the best! Who needs to go to Italy, when Italian cuisine at its best is right here! G

This is our "go to" restaurant for Roast Rabbit (Conignlio). Authentic Italian Deli and restaurant in Edenvale. Italian food is so much more than pasta and pizzas. Highly recommended

Did some research ahead of dinner - 1. Looked at reviews2. Looked at menu, location and gallery filesPrices loooked about 25-30% higher than my best Italian restaurant in GautengE.g., Lasagne R129 vs, R100. Hake... R145!But, as we were meeting friends who suggested venue - off we went.Prices off the scale relative to location and service. Food was ordinary to say the leats. Salad for 2 was simply tasteless and leaves were floppy.Calzone Special had to be given a lot of help with watery Tabasco...Service. The poor fellow did not have a clue which way to serve or unserve the table - we had his arms and armpits all over us.Never again. Too many variables way below par for it to have been a night off for this establishment.

Da Graziella never disappoints. This is an authentic Italian Restaurant. Their Roast Rabbit is superb. In the10 plus times we've been there it has always been a pleasure.

I've been to Da Graziella's a number of times over the past 20 years - all I can say is that it's been a consistently good experience. Homely Italian cuisine, cooked with love.

Absolutely delicious Italian dishes from pizza to pasta, warm homely environment and even an Italian mama shouting the odds in the background to add to the ambiance. Loved it, and also often order take ways from here too
