“Great Indian currys.”
Great Indian currys meat or vegetarian . Had an excellent butter chicken curry and bean curry with Romani roti. Highly recommended. Good service reasonably priced and good quality food.

“Decent food, no liquor license”
Looking for a good curry for supper somewhere close to home we popped into curry palace last Saturday. They no longer serve alcohol so you can take your own ( Spar in the same centre stays open until 8pm so you can easily pick up a bottle of decent wine)Veg starters were very tasty. Curries were ok but all tasted very similar (and we had 4 totally different curries!). The naan bread was excellent. It is a small restaurant so can feel a bit too cosy when busy. The night we went was fairly quiet.

“LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING”
This little restaurant looks like nothing much from the outside, but wait till you taste the food! Punjab style curry dishes that will blow your mind!! (and taste buds!!) Exquisitely prepared flavours, huge variety and excellent value for money!! Bring your own wine, no corckage charged. Highly recommended little GEM, near Randburg SAPS.

Food Service Value for Money
“.....a blast from the past”
I have been frequenting the Curry Palace for many years - They always provide friendly professional service. Unlike a traditional South African Durban Indian Restaurant - The Curry Palace serves Punjabi style curries from Pakistan a cuisine more familiar to my UK roots. To the Food...The Authentic Chicken Korma is a dream - perfect combination of herbs and spices and the all important Almond paste. I prefer the Rogan Josh - whichever dish you choose you will not be disappointed - They serve beautiful fresh Naan's cooked in their Tandoor. A year or so ago the owners stopped serving alcohol to honor their faith - the good news is that you can 'Bring your Own' an added bonus to reduce your bill! This awesome spot is my First choice for great curry every time - Try them!

“THE best Chicken Tikka Masala ANYWHERE”
You will never get better Chicken Tikka Masala and butter naan than this place. Anyone we take with us to this restaurant has agreed to this statement. The owners are all so helpful and friendly- this restaurant is always consistently good. Service and food is excellent and we love supporting what seems to be a family business.

“Charming Little Restaurant”
Very small, charming restaurant, but feels a bit claustrophobic when full! Unfortunately they have lost their liquor license a while ago, so we couldn't order any wine, but we were welcome to go and buy our own wine, no corkage charged! Food was really, really tasty! Will definitely go again, but maybe when it is a little less busy.

“Hot Stuff !”
Within Ferndale Village Shopping Centre this is provable one of the best value Indian restaurants in Northern Joburg. They don't have a liquor license so you bring your own, with no corkage fee. We had a chicken and a a lamb curry, both delicious and hot, just the way we like them. The nann bread where equally delicious and perfect to mop up the sauces. Well work a visit !
