Chatters Bistro

It has been 4 years since I visited Chatters and it was a bit of a shock to see the effects of Covid regulations on their business. Knysna was very quiet and tourism has been the worst affected. Anyway, the food and service was outstanding, even in these trying times. I was particularly impressed with the attention to Covid safety; not taken seriously enough in other restaurants, I am afraid. Tables have been removed to provide the minimum social distance and temperatures and phone numbers meticulously taken. It seems that they have established a strong take-away business over the past 15 months with free delivery under 4 kms. Good for them!

Awesome service, excellent covid compliance, and the best Vegan Pizza I've ever had. Loads of toppings to choose from and covered in delicious vegan cheese! Definitely worth the visit! Will be going back for sure.

Really great Pizza’s! Perfectly thin, just how pizza’s should be. Great toppings. Huge menu we had a difficult time choosing. We just got takeaways as it was a rainy evening, but by the looks of the place it would be nice to sit down on a lovely day. We’ll definitely head straight there when we next visit Knysna.

This is a very casual restaurant with outside seating which is great for warm evenings.I can only judge the food by the Pizza we had, which was very good, if the other food was this good then I can highly recommend this for a quick and casual evening meal.Staff were very attentive and the background music suited my tastes (60's -70's) nice for us old gits!

This is a jewel of restaurant away from the waterfront in Knysna. If you want great food, fabulous service and a brilliant ambience, terrific value for money and keep away from the run of the mill tourist restaurants on the front, go here, you won’t regret it

A popular restaurant with locals who return for a good meal. Our first visit and we were pleasantly greeted upon our arrival. Attentive staff and a solid , fresh pizza followed. Thin base to the pizzas and the toppings were lovely. Wine list a bit pricey but nonetheless good. Enjoyable meal.

Went to Chatters for a pizza and we didnt get disappointed. Pizza's taster great! Staff was Nice. Also our 10 month old Son enjoyed himselves in his high chair!

We were lucky to get a table for 4 during their busy dinner service. Their extensive pizza selection made it hard to choose but in the end the food was delicious, service was attentive and great value too. We will definitely make a point of returning next time we’re in Knysna!
