“Good food, nicely priced”

We have been in this Cattle Baron many times. Mostly for the buffet. But in Corona time this is forbidden. So we had the lunchmenu.We had a wonderful steak, good crispy chips. The service was friendly as always.We will return.

“Excellant well prepaired meal”

What an experience we had at the restaurant. From the minute we walked in and was welcomed and attended to promptly. The service and knowledge of the waiter was good, so the advice as well. The meal as a whole was out of this world. I will definately return for more.

“Excellent steakhouse experience.”

Always good steaks and service. Choice of sides are varied and are tasty and plentiful.Normally booking is not required.

“Best steaks”

Come here every year on our annual visit from Scotland. Best steaks ever and leave UK in its wake. Well worth a visit and no corkage charge if you bring your own wine.

“Great food”

Great food at a reasonable price is a good description I think :) I will definitely visit again and its a good place for a quick meeting with friends or club members.

“Enjoying me time with a friend”

This restaurant was chosen as it is the halfway point to meet a friend. It is situated in the heart of Durbanville, yet where it is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Ample parking around and quite easy to find. The restaurant lived up to it's name even though we settled for the lunch buffet which was more than adequate for our appetites. The food was of good quality and we enjoyed the ambiance and the friendliness of the staff. Once again a good managed restaurant and definitely on my revisit list

“Regular family and friends visits”

We visit this restaurant at least once a month (or sometimes more times) and are every time very satisfied with their service and food - really value for money! Thanks management, waiters and chefs!

“Cattle Barron”

The food is amazing. Again if you love meat then this is the place to visit. Staff is friendly. And you can enjoy a lovely bottle of bubbly with your well prepared steak.

“Really uncomfortable”

We visited in June for a kids birthday dinner and all I can say is that the restaurant needs a serious upgrade. The seats are half broken and seriously uncomfortable. Screen showing the rugby damaged. Food was average.

“Just disappointment..”

We visited Cattle Baron Durbanville,which used to be one of our favourite eating places,for the first time in years.Gone was the nice atmosphere we loved,upholstery needs maintenance etc,the service was ok,to some it might seem like petty things,but worst of all,food poisoning...We got so sick,spend our weekend in the bathroom.What a disappointment,we will never go there again.

Good day.... I had a wonderful 40th birthday celebration at the venue, with family an friends.... The vibe, atmosphere was awesome, and waiter Cindy friendly and helpful.... Service excellent.... Will be coming back soon...
