Terrible service.They did not follow COVID regulations - tables close together, restaurant closed up and stuffy. Tuesday is Taco night with all tacos R50 - something we discovered at the end of the night when the bill was presented, no hint of the deal was given when our large table booked, arrived or ordered.

Cantina has always been the “go to” for anyone who love tequila. Let’s be frank ( or John or Mary), its the ONLY place for tequila. Not the rotgut sold as tequila, but the real deal. The supping, savoring, lingering joy that is tequila.That said the food has always been exceptional...Jamie is a GOD. They have now expanded the menu to move beyond Mexican Fusion. And the change has actually enhanced rather than detracted. So well done. And keep the tequilas coming.

Of the 4 days spent in Gonubie we visited this restaurant twice. The Seared Tuna bowl and the Crispy Pork Bowl were incredibly tasty. If not for the delay with our orders from the kitchen's side, I would give this restaurant a full rating

on holiday in East London we went to Cantina and Craft for dinner. really lovely restuarant. food was great. we had 2 vegetarians with us and they enjoyed their meals as well. portion sizes were very liberal with more than enough goodness on each plate. the Nachos were the best choice on the night. cocktails were very nice.

This is a fantastic restaurant to eat at. The place is clean the waitrons are good and the food is excellent.

We visited East London. And upon asking mates where we could go out for a bite they suggested Cantina. The setup of the restaurant and location was easy to find. They have a large selection of drinks and top notch selection of food. Everything from starters mains desserts and side orders. Service is quick and staff is friendly. Pricing is good. If you are looking for a restaurant that can cater for single,couples or work functions then don’t look else where. It’s like being in Mexico

Fun fun fun, mexican restaurant. Great flavourful food with lots of laughs and friendly staff. Great for get togethers with friends and colleagues.

Friendly staff, fantastic Margerita's and good food what more can a Mexican food lover ask for. Well worth a visit.

We love our meals at Cantina with our friends and family. Good starters and waitrons are lovely and friendly. Nice option for kids to choose meals from other restaurants if they’re fussy

We’ve enjoyed a bunch of their starters many times, although we don’t often order starters at restaurants. Love the chorizo and fillet tacos. Lovely for bigger crowds too. They allow you to order from surrounding restaurants if you have a guest at your table who’d prefer something else or if you’d like a kids meal. Friendly staff!
