Burgundy Restaurant

We took a quick breakfast stop in Hermanus on our way to Knysna and found this quaint little spot in town. The homely atmosphere was quite inviting on a rainy day.

I ordered the stacked trout French toast which was nicely presented and quite delicious. I did however feel that the French toast was quite bland and I wish they had made it a bit better.
My boyfriend ordered the eggs benedict. The hollandaise sauce was creamy and the egg was cooked perfectly. Definitely a good spot for a lovely breakfast.

The little local which we like to visit when we're in Hermanus. Albeit a little on the expensive side, you know you're in for a delicious meal and some great service.

NB: They serve some of the best fish and chips around!
