Saigon Cape Town

We had potstickers, duck springrolls, sweet and sour chicken. Followed by deep fried ice cream. Service was great, food was excellent!

I was looking forward to visiting an old favourite and this is one of the few Asian restaurants which trade on a Sunday. Unfortunately the tempura prawns did not meet my husband’s expectations. There were 4 prawns in the main and they were oily, the batter was not crisp and light and they were served only with soy sauce. The dish lacked flavour and at R240 a portion it should have been better. The crystal rolls had too much rice noodles and one mint leave does not make a dish Vietnamese. The dishes looked Asian but it lacked flavour. One has to ask - is there a Asian chef in the kitchen?

The food was absolutely amazing and authentic. One of the best Asian restaurants I have tried in Cape Town. Will definitely be returning.

I had heard so much about the food and finally had the opportunity to give it a try. To die for authentic Asian. We shared a bunch of beyond tasty goodies. Fear not, these guys are the real deal, and more.

I always have a good experience here and the food is really delicious. I really hope this restaurant survives the corona crisis, planning to get takeaways tonight... This is one of the under-rated restaurants in CT, usually its the other way round.

Visited numerous times whilst on holiday to Cape Town..... this is vietnamese food at its best..... back drop to table mountain with friendly staff and food is beautiful....we will be back

Friendly staff, crowdy place, plenty of dishes, hot, medium, fish, meat, veggy, soups, sushi ... and all super tasty!!

Super super vietnamese food with tons of options. We were both vegetarians and we had a ton of vegan options to choose from. We had the vegetarian fried rice with shitake mushrooms and tofu and cauliflower poppers and spring rolls.

My first visit since the late 80's & the food is still as good as I remember it to be.Why did it take me so long to visit Saigon again heaven knows, but I'm glad I did.I love Duck & I must say this was one of the best Duck dishes I have had in along time.It has become quite more busier than I recall, but I know why.It's because of the outstanding quality of it's cuisine.If you're ever in this area & looking for outstanding Vietnamese cuisine, this is your place, look no further.To the management and staff thank you for a great experience.Kind regardsFerdie Liebenberg

We found the food good and the waiter very attentive. Also the bartender was very friendly whilst we waited for our table. He even took the time open up the upstairs section just so we could have a look.
