That Greek Place opened on December 9, 2022. It is family and pet-friendly, featuring a play area for kids and doggie bowls. It offers fresh, authentic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine with recipes passed down by Greek grandmothers from the villages in Greece.
Located at Koffiefontein on the R315, it is 2.2 km from the R27 (West Coast Road) towards Yzerfontein.
They are fully licensed, but guests are welcome to bring their own wine and just pay a minimal R40 corkage fee.
Calli (from Limnos) is the owner and chef. She has spent years in Greece and is more than au fait with how the whole thing works superbly.
The service is smooth and friendly and the wine list well priced, if a little on the slim side, so get yourself there and enjoy it. The interior looks great for winter when things get colder or when the wind starts to pump as it does up there, but just as inviting are the interesting shaded and protected relaxation/dining nooks for summer where one can sip on a variety of ice cold drinks and enjoy the sound of birds chirping in the garden and enjoy the fresh farm air and spectacular sunsets.
Either way, a trip to That Greek Place should definitely be on your bucket list of "must-see" restaurants.
