Opened in 2012, Sotano has fast become popular with both local faces and visitors passing by. Its light and breezy ocean-side atmosphere, Mediterranean styled menu plus clear view of the Mouille Point Lighthouse and Atlantic beyond, makes Sotano a venue that’s hard to beat. Never a dull moment at Sotano, every Wednesday, Sotano serves up its popular 2 for 1 Lamb Burger Special from 5pm. Friday nights are all about sunsets and the smooth sounds of Abbott Nu Jazz, be sure to catch them every Friday from 7-9pm. On Sunday evenings, the Capetonian reggae band Rivertones kicks off at 4-7pm and lets you unwind after a busy weekend.

Travelling from the N2 / N1, towards Cape Town City Centre, continue onto Nelson Mandela Boulevard. At the robots, continue straight into Buitengracht Street. At the next set of robots, turn right onto Hans Strijdom Avenue / Western Bypass (M6) towards Seapoint.
After about 1,5km, at the circle, take the 3rd exit onto Granger Bay Boulevard. Turn left into Fritz Sonneberg Road and continue on this road. At the end of Fritz Sonneberg Road, turn left into Beach Road. The destination will be on the left.
