Late November 2021 saw the opening of Searles Garagiste right in the heart of the village of Stanford.

At this restaurant they believe in sustainable development and will procure local food whenever possible. Foraging for fresh mussels, seaweed and wild asparagus, is something that the chef and staff are quite accustomed to. This allows the kitchen to experiment and come up with interesting items on the menu.

Many people visit Searles Garagiste to try good trout and perfectly prepared salads. Good quality wine is worth a try here. This place offers great coffee among its drinks.

If you're travelling in or near Stanford, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The easy laid back environment, hospitable staff and the freshly prepared food, is outstanding. The place has an eclectic yet elegant charm.

The owner and staff are exceptionally welcoming of visitors all year round. Not only will you enjoy the vibe, good food and the interesting decor, but you will be blown away by the efficiency and speed with which your food arrives at your table.

At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Royal St. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Lord Roberts St. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Main Rd/R43. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto 7th St/R43. Continue straight onto R43. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Queen Victoria St. Destination will be on the left.
