In Vietnamese “pho” refers to the popular noodle soup dish that consist of broth, rice noodles, herbs and meat, typically beef or chicken. It is a staple of Vietnamese cuisine and is enjoyed any time of the day, but often eaten for breakfast. It is garnished with fresh herbs, lime and chilli for personalization of flavor. “Hue” in Vietnamese refers to happy place. Naming his restaurant Pho Hue, makes it clear that the owner wants the public to feel happy and welcome to visit his restaurant to experience authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Pho Hue - A Vietnamese Kitchen has just recently opened in Hout Bay, next to Bugatti's. They offer hot Vietnamese meals and sushi, sit-down or takeaway, or one can order from Mr Delivery and Uber Eats.

Pho Hue is pronounced “Fuh Who-aye.” They also have a branch at 152 Imam Haron Road, Claremont.
