On the 1st of December 2011, Cattle Baron - Windhoek changed it's name to Peppercorn Grill and Steakhouse. Still in the same location in the Maerua Mall, the Peppercorn Grill & Steakhouse is now a locally owned family restaurant. Not only are they still catering for the meat lover, but they now also have a selection of salads, vegetarian dishes, great desserts and of course a kiddies menu.

Start your dining experience with Deep-Fried Prawns and Calamari served with sweet chilli sauce. For mains, enjoy the House Blackened Pepper Steak, coated with crushed black peppercorns, pan-fried and flambéed with brandy, gently simmered in a creamy pepper sauce, available in a 300g Fillet, Rump or Sirloin or have the Something Special Pizza, a crunchy base topped with pear, camembert, pancetta and rocket.

For the 'very hungry', tuck in to the Pork Loin Chops, available in 500g, 800g or 1kg or for the vegetarian, try the Ultimate Salad, a fresh mix of crisp lettuce, cubed butternut, Danish feta, dried cranberries, beetroot and butternut crisps, served with a balsamic reduction or the Vegetarian Pizza, a base topped with butternut, broccoli, feta, mushroom, caramelised onions and garlic.

End your meal with a Chocolate Volcano Surprise, a rich and decadent chocolate soufflé, made from Belgian chocolate and baked to perfection. Enjoy the crisp outside and the molten centre with ice cream or cream.

Come and enjoy the atmosphere at the Peppercorn Grill and Steakhouse!

Travelling East along Sam Nujoma Drive, turn right into Robert Mugabe Avenue and continue until the Jan Jonker Road intersection. Turn right into Jan Jonker, and you'll see Maerua Mall on your left.
