Infood Bakery & Deli Restaurant is really quite something.
• The best barista made coffee
• The freshest home baked bread
• An exciting organic menu
• Delicious vegetarian fare
• Fine deli foods and catering
All made with the finest ingredients, locally sourced as far as possible and organically grown and InFood’s secret ingredient – Soul!
Founder and owner Jayne Davies has been a successful caterer for more than 27 years and cut her teeth at the feet of the likes of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver. Some of her most noted achievements abroad were catering for Prince William’s 21st birthday party and a three year spell catering for the North Sea Jazz Festival. Back in Cape Town, she was official caterer for the Stormers Rugby Team and Newlands Stadium before discovering the Eastern Cape and choosing to escape city life.
When she settled in Jeffreys Bay in 2005, the first thing she noticed was that she could not get a cup of real barista made coffee, a loaf of artisan made bread or an interesting vegetarian meal.
Infood was born and has been evolving ever since.
Jayne’s aim is to keep J-Bay’s trendiest restaurant, bakery and deli’s carbon footprint to an absolute minimum without compromising her exacting standards. Everything is done with conscious thought. InFood fare is always real, consistent, and innovative. Extra-mile service and consistently high quality are delivered by a well trained team of skilled staff.
No compromises are made with any ingredients. No shortcuts. Just honest, fullness of flavour and attitude. An eclectic mix of patrons, young and old, return time and time again to enjoy the Infood experience. They are drawn by the lure of real flavours, the visual feast of gorgeous tea-time treats made just the way “ouma” would have done and the thrill of enjoying the exciting world class menu and great service.
