Nestled in the picturesque Constantia Valley, Four & Twenty at Constantia Uitsig is a delightful bakery and café that beckons breakfast aficionados and pastry lovers alike. With an inviting atmosphere enhanced by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods, this charming spot offers flaky croissants, artisanal breads, and sumptuous quiches straight from its open kitchen. Guests can bask in the sun on the terrace while enjoying leisurely brunches amidst stunning views of vineyards and mountains.

 

The new eatery offers the same deliciousness as the Wynberg branch, but with a few tweaks here and there. You’ll find their indulgent Benedict menu with four different kinds to choose from (yes, please!), including the Green Eggs & Ham Benedict with poached eggs, Dijon-brushed sourdough, basil Hollandaise and crispy hickory ham. There are also build-your-own breakfast options, a breakfast bowl, and flapjacks with caramelised banana and pecan streusel. Let’s also not forget about their glorious freshly baked treats, including a range of different scones and muffins.

The cosy café offers a colourful variety of lunch options, too, such as spicy calamari salad with mango, chilli and confit garlic and a classic and comforting ham-and-cheese toastie with a bechamel and honey-mustard glaze. All of the above go beautifully with a glass (or bottle) of Constantia Uitsig wine. Alternatively, there’s an array of fresh juices, coffees and silk-teabag brews.
