District Café first opened in 2012 and is the brainchild of hands-owner Rahiema Ebrahim, and is located in popular Roodebloem Road in the up and coming Woodstock neighbourhood. Their vision for District Café is to welcome the local community and beyond to pop in and relax while enjoying fabulous food and become THE spot for a lunch time break.

The interior of District Café is cosy with wooden tables and chairs and a grey colour scheme throughout the eatery. The serving area has a beautiful cake and cupcake display, which are all made by Rahiema’s family, with lots of space and a separate seating area which is popular for celebrations and can seat up to 42 people.

The food at District café is simply scrumptious, for breakfasts try their popular omelettes and the eggs royale. Feeling hungry? Try their delicious Gourmet burgers the lamb and the Big 6 are definite crowd pleasers. To end off with something sweet, try their decadent hot chocolate cake, it will keep you coming back for more.
