This market, situated on Blaauwklippen, one of the oldest wine farms between Somerset West and Stellenbosch, was established in 2011 and has become one of the most unique market venues of the Winelands.
This market has become a popular Sunday outing frequented by families and friends. At Blaauwklippen Family Market, we endeavour to present a selection of unusual and exciting products.
Our aim is to create an occasion for families and friends to spend quality time together and create an opportunity for small businesses to market their products directly to the consumer. We are also happy to become involved with charities and their fundraising events such as our Once A Month Doggy Walk for the Animal Welfare.
The Blaauwklippen Family Market is child and pet friendly. We cater for children of all ages, with various rides and activities. We offer a safe environment well away from roads or water. So bring your well behaved pooch and child for a Sunday off the beaten track.
A delicious range of prepared food is on offer to tickle the taste buds. Visit the carriage museum for seasonal fresh produce, cheese, homemade pies, olives, baked treats and much more. Make a note of tasting the excellent wine that Blaauwklippen has to offer. Enjoy a delicious cocktail or a chilled craft beer while enjoying some live music.
The market is open every Sunday from 10h00 – 15h00.
