the views are stunning from this wine estates and the wines will not disapoint - the restaurant is a little on the chilli side unless you are next to the fire place - food great

Stopped for breakfast - The restaurant is set on a hill with fantastic views of mountain range - the food is superb and the service extremely friendly and welcoming - Would highly recommend the venue for especially breakfast and lunch when travelling to Ceres.

Overall fantastic - very welcoming experience, staff awesome, lovely wines, great food kids and dogs welcome!

Arrived on a Sunday morning for a wine tasting. We were 20 minutes early but saw people inside so walked in only to be rudely told we only open at 11.00. No-one suggested we take a seat whilst we wait, all the time listening to two staff members complaining that it had been a late night the previous evening and that there was another busy function that afternoon. I would have thought in the current climate people should be welcoming whatever business they can get. We were made to feel uncomfortable whilst waiting, but chose to stay as we had made the trip from Tulbgh and then up the long entrance to the cellars. Eventually we got to taste a few wines by a disinterested individual who appeared to have learnt her script parrot fashion. It was pointless asking any questions.

Arrived at 14:10 and our meal arrived over an hour later at 15:17. Wouldn't have been too upset however the food was substandard. The schnitzel was hard on the edges. The pizza had so much cheese that my son could not pick it up and the toppings had been added after the pizza was made so the mushrooms were raw. To call what I was served risotto is an insult to Italian food. The tomato was over sugared, yes sugared! The chicken burger was on a soggy roll with chips that had been cooked in the same oil as fish! Save you money and go somewhere else.

We went to this restaurant today for Sunday lunch. What a treat. On Sundays they have specials and today was roast Sirloin with roast vegetables. Absolutely delicious and what a helping. We followed up with desserts, I had Cherry homemade ice scream and my partner had yogurt pannecotta with figs and cherries. We finished off our meal with freshly ground coffee, one cappuccino and one americano. The staff are awesome and the service superb. The dining area is spacious and the seating comfortable. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking forward to a delicious affordable meal, and a pleasant outing.

Visited for lunch. Brilliant food and excellent service. Oh and the wine was lovely. Beautiful view from the balcony. A must visit.

We had dropped in here several times for coffee & bird watching but on this occasion decided to have dinner here. The food was very good and service too. We do love it here for sitting outside with binoculars and camera too. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nadia was amazing as Chef of the year. Seriously passionate about her food and her staff share the enthusiasm.very amenable and forthcoming with sharing her zest for cooking. Well done Waverly..a great menu too.

We spent most of Sunday as a group of 7 on the veranda at Waverley Hills. Great food. Amazing view. Lovely garden. Good wine. To be recommended.
