“A great breakfast, lunch or dinner pit stop in Dullstroom”

We took the chance of stopping just because we were feeling pekish, well we ended up staying for a whole meal. The last time I had waffles as light, airy and tasty as these were in Brussels, Belgium. I'm talking about melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Service were fast and efficient. The best thing is probably that you can have a savory and sweet waffle on one plate.

“Delicious Pizza”

Wide variety of yummy waffles AND the most delicious fresh oven baked pizza! Friendly staff - seating inside and outside and cute little play area for the kids! Lovely!

“Yummy”

We stopped for lunch - had a pizza and waffle. A must have if you are in Dullstroom. Absolutely yummy

“Disappointing”

Based on recommendations and reputation stopped for a breakfast. Very nice place and nice gardens. Staff friendly and helpful and good coffee. We were disappointed in food taste and the combination of waffles with other food. Would go back but not for the waffles.

Pity that you did not alert us to what your taste experience was whilst being present, as we would have liked to know which of our more than 28 food combinations on waffles did not suit your taste. We are continuously experimenting with new combinations...

“A pity they couldn't get it right when waffles are their speciality”

Came here as we stopped by to check if they could satisfy my sweet tooth with a gluten free waffle, and to my surprise, they did offer gluten free waffles! We got seated in a lovely back garden which was beautiful. The staff were friendly and efficient. Sadly, the food was less than impressive. I am not sure whether the waffles were store bought, but they certainly did not taste homemade or fresh. They tasted stale and dry, and the ice cream was cheap and icy. A pity they couldn't get it right when waffles seem to be their speciality.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is really a pity that you did not share your opinion with us whilst at the restaurant, as we would have gladly invited you into the kitchen to show the homemade process involved in baking each of our FRESH waffles on order. The flour used to bake gluten free waffles (as requested and very seldomly baked) are not the ideal as they do not taste the same as our normal bake – I might then therefore consider discontinuing the gluten free offering in total, as this was meant as a gesture to those that cannot partake in the pleasure of the thousands that enjoy our fresh homemade waffles!

“Supermarket waffles”

We suspect that the waffles in supermarket precooked, packaged are better than here. Waitress with ponytail was exceptionally fantastic.

“Delicious and unique!”

Very creative, outdoor, setting with shopping for the foodies and the waffles are amazing! Definately a must when in town

“Not as strange as you think”

So having actually savoury food served on a waffle does seem strange at first but trust me it’s much more enjoyable then you think, it seems people in America know something we don’t, the sweetness of a waffle with something savoury is a very unique experience and one worth trying however if you are not ready for such you can just order and incredibly decadent waffle with chocolate, ice cream, Oreos or even marshmallows if that’s what you prefer. Also it is very quick service and very efficient and also excellent value for money.

“Great Service and Wonderful Breakfast”

My husband and I went to enjoy a quick breakfast before leaving to our next destination.We were immediately met by friendly staff and seated to the table of our choice.We shared one savoury and one sweet waffle.The waiting time was around 10-15 minutes, the food was tasty and the servings were generous.We thought that the board games they have available on the tables was a very sweet touch.

“Yummy fudge waffles”

The coffee was good. The waffles was great, especially the Paul Kruger (fudge waffle). The service was good. Beautiful quant little restaurant.
