Casual eatery is right on the beach. Sadly the crayfish season has been dramatically reduced since crayfish is on the red list, but we were consoled by the option of seafood platters.
The snoek samoosas were particularly good, with a lovely spicy dipping sauce. There were also creamy mussels (large and tender but perhaps a little too garlicky), prawns in their shells (yum), calamari and linefish. This was great value, particularly since we opted to share seafood platters between two people – an ample portion since we’d had lunch too.
The cheesecake looked very good, but we opted for Don Pedros. They were okay, but not great . (Lumps of ice rather spoiled the texture)
The food was good, but it was more about the location and the atmosphere. The service was particularly good, and a great evening was had by all.
