I used to frequent Rainbow Terrace at the Hilton and was always blown away by the variety, quality of food and service so I decided to take my elderly in laws there expecting the same.What an absolutely disappointing experience.Although the waiters were polite and helpful,but the range in the buffet was absolutely ridiculous compared to the exhorbitant amount of R275 per person excluding drinks.The starters were dried out pizza,one meatball each,macaroni. There was just one option for mains, butter chicken and rice. No carvery,or vegetarian options. No rolls,etc. Dessert was dried out brown cake,used in 2 desserts.One had brown cake and jelly, the other had a dry custard on top. You catch bees with honey not vinegar. You served us "vinegar". Dont ever expect a visit from me or any of my family members again.It saddens me that such a reputable,world renowned Hotel chain group could serve up crap like that.

To say it was bad is being kind! The Worst buffet we have been to in the last 5 years ! Our year end party with conjested tables shoved inns corner where we could barely move.literally! money wasted !!!!At R395 a head , takeaway would have been a better idea ! The menu is so exaggerated ! The food was minimal , the so called Masla fish was more like dehydrated fish . Zero effort in display of food and the cherry on the top was the confused Manager (not manage material by far )This place is seriously heading for disaster !!by Far was not Hilton standard

Decided to go for supper and the food was terrible. on the menu there was slices of sirolon, a stirfry station, beef potjie, pieces of fish and pork, a veg curry, rice, baby potatoes, spagetti. the food tasted terrbile. advised the host and there was nothing they could do about it.

Enjoyed a buffet after my graduation ceremony. Located within the Hilton hotel in Durban. Very warm, professional staff. Didn't get to see the menu cos it was a buffet dinner. Great food with a lot of heart. Give it a try should you visit the Hilton hotel.

I cannot even express how bad it is. "International buffet" which was lamb ribs, iranian chicken, tandoori fish, bbq brisket, and obviously your sides. Lamb over cooked, iranian chicken (just no,dry boiled chicken), tandoori fish (don't know how old this was but my toddler got food poisoning from it, and we actually checked out) R275 per person totally not worth the paper the receipt is printed on.I am never this harsh on any place, however the fact that my toddler spent the night throwing up after eating with us, is just not on and this was just disappointing for a 5 star establishment

we had a great time , the staff was fabulous always checking on us , the place is classy elegant and the food was out of this world 100%

My family and I had a beautiful dining experience on the 16 August 2019 . We took up the PrawnFest special. The food and desserts were top notch . The staff was very very helpful and informative . The seafood buffet was brilliant . We will definitely be dining at Vasco’s again .

We really appreciate Mluleki's rigatoni pasta.Also people are very kind, with a friendly atmosphere.

What a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. First time here and definitely not the last. A huge thank you goes out to Romano and his capable breakfast team, you guys were amazing.
