made a reservation tonight and was told upon arrival that its busy because of month end, after waiting 15 min I decided to approach the manager and inform him that we are leaving and that its ridiculous that our table had been given away . this was honestly a really bad experience on an accession that should have been an enjoyable one.

We were so impressed with the professionalism of the waitrons, and staff. The food came quickly and was really delicious. They take great care in sanitising and making sure everything is ready for each person. Attention to detail was great. Thank you so much!

If you are a meat lover this is the place to try. Situated within a safe and secure environment it is nice just to have a break with a nice meal. Presentation and Service is very good and the best is when the chef come and cut your meat according to your liking. Overall a good experience

This restaurant must rate as the best restaurant on the west rand for a steak in my book at the moment. We went there for supper, just the wife and I and my brother and the meals were excellent. The service was also exceptional. I can still remember the first time we frequented this restaurant we were not impressed at all but now it is tops. I would recommend it to anyone at any time. It is slightly more expensive than your average restaurant but it is worth it.

This restaurant is neither very good nor average in my opinion - just good. We went there early on a Friday night and was pleased initially when we got there to see as many patrons - surely this means it is a good restaurant. We stood around a bit a t the entrance and was ignored and then approached the manager where he was at his station in the middle of the restaurant. He did not greet us but just lifted his eyebrows and I said could we have a table for two. His reply was whether we booked as they were full. I said no, we did not know we had to book and was about to leave when he said oh he can seat us at a table near the entrance which was fine for us. So, not very welcoming or over friendly I felt. The waiter came, took our orders and brought our drinks. I had The Boss steak which is supposed to be a speciality and it was just good - not what I expected judging from the description of the dish. The steak was done the way I asked and was okay but I expected more of a dish that is supposed to be very special. My partner had the Howard's Howler and was disappointed. He asked for medium and it was obviously not rested enough as it had the unappetizing ring of blood all over the plate. His steak was also not as tender as one would expect from a place specializing in steak. And taking shortcuts like using a piece of processed cheese on top does not do it for us. One also felt like you had to hurry as they want more people in and once you finished you should go. I am sorry, this was not the experience we wanted and looked forward to. I guess it is everything one can expect of a franchise and it has its regular patrons and will always have, but not for us. But as eating out has become so expensive, I expect more than what we got. We did not even bother with looking at their desert menu, we felt we have already spent more than we wanted on something not as good as we expected.To me it seems it is a case of oh, we are always full we don't actually care if some people are not really happy. Let's see if the owner/manager responds, I might then say yes, at leats they do care, my previous sentence does not count.

Good food and service. Nice location and friendly staff, and good menu. Will definitely visit again.

We come to eat here on the first evening we arrive in Johannesburg every year and usually a few more evenings during our stay. The welcome is tremendous, the steaks out of this world, the ambience delightful. Unfortunately yesterday was too cold to sit outside but the inside is just as pleasant and comfortable.

Took the family out for dinner and although the food was good I was shocked when I got the bill. The main meal was priced ok, the drinks and other stuff was badly over priced. I'm shocked that restaurants get away with it. I will newer support places that steal from there customers. You will newer see me again. Please management when waiters offer things to the customers that's not on the menu, then please tell us also the prices.

We have been to Turn n' Tender many many times, we have even got food delivered from there. And not once has there been anything to fault.The food is always excellent, done exactly the way you wanted and requested. The staff are brilliant, friendly and they know their menu. The decor and lighting just adds to the enjoyability of the dinner. Whether you going as a family, a big group or as a couple, you will never be disappointed.
