Turn 'n Tender - Dainfern

When I am looking for a Point Rump 300g with traditional Morogo (traditional Spinach, tomato, onion etc), this is the only place I choose.The meat is always fantastic and the staff are amazing. Well done TnT.

Incredible food, service and atmosphere! Loved every second from walking in until we left. All the staff super friendly and attended to our every need. Food amazing portions and very good value for money! Will most certainly be back! Well done T'nT Dainfern!!!

Prices are high and so are expectations. I'm unfortunately at my most disappointed ever.My steak had no flavor and the 700g I ordered was not the size I recieved, sweet potato was a regular potato. Onion Rings were a sorry excuse looking more like a birds nest. Horrible taste!My "special house sauce" tasted of charcoal. All in all the best thing about this meal was the bottle of water.1 other person at the table got cold SpareRibs, which tells me they are precooked and probably comes from another kitchen.Every other option is better than this restaurant.

It was probably one of the craziest experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. After their complex electricity did not recover after a load shedding issue, the restaurant expected the staff to continue cooking in the dark without any regard to the health of the labour and hygiene. In the dark the clients were forced to receive food or pay for "take-aways". The clients were forced to pay for food not accepted or not received.In the days following I sent a mail to the business management without any reply to the e-mail - received "missed calls" with no voice mail. I have since escalated the matter to the SHE department which have acknowledged that they will investigate the entire group.

Being part of a franchise the difference lays in the management of the venue. The management team at Dainfern have certainly achieved and surpassed this requirement. Add to this a really good layout excellent service and very well run kitchen with quality food being served.

I have been to Turn and tender in hungry times and in Lean times and there has always been a meal to satisfy. The Bordelaise Sauce is a must with any steak. For the hungry, the meat board is a must before reading the menu, that way you don't have to do all that reading. The service is great with friendly staff and a flexible chef is always helpful to meal enjoyment. Keep it up guys, you have a winning recipe.

Since opening over a year ago I have frequented this steak house regularly. It is located adjacent to a new shopping centre. It is not attached to the shopping centre, so one does not feel as though one is in a mall. I have also been to 3 other T&T branches in other suburbs and none are able to match the quality of the meat offered at the Dainfern branch. I have often wondered about that as I assume they all source their meat from the same supplier.The menu is extensive so that almost all cuts of steak are available. If you have guests who do not eat meat, the fish and vegetable offerings are also good (but not imaginative) although not as extensive as the meat.I have often taken foreign guests to this branch. Most want to return. That is the standard that you can expect.To re-iterate: in my experience, only this branch offers the standard one would expect. (I will not return to the other branches).

Not surprisingly excellent, for a franchise like this, it's what you would expect & noting less. Staff is very friendly, warmly welcomed, informal chat's & even moved a table upon request.

Excellent Steaks, excellent wine, service can be approved. In general I really enjoyed it and recommend to go there for a good dinner!

I had higher expectations: beer on tap not really exiting, Stella and a lite beer, the rump with extra fat was ok in taste, could have been tenderer, the fries were horrible: soft, soggy and greasy. House side salat with avocado probably the best dish.
