My wife and i went for lunch and were greeted with disinfectant on our hands and our tables were cleaned , menus and all cutlery too , we then also signed a register -the standards were professional and well carried out by Chelsea , we felt safe to dine here , the food was fresh and tasty and both of us enjoyed our meals , now with no alcohol being served on weekends too , Chelsea explained all this is a friendly and responsible manner , we mentioned that she is well trained and good reflection on owners management too - well worth the visit in a safe environment

The soft yet ample lighting, reminiscent of fine dining in days gone by, is inviting and adds to the relaxed atmosphere as well as allowing one to enjoy the whole dining experience. The well-trained staff, who clearly know their products, are attentive, friendly and efficient, yet discreet. The mouthwatering dishes are well-presented without depending on unnecessary garnishing to make them appealing. From the ample biltong /cream starter, the remains of which just begged to be taken home, to the sizzling hot and tender rump steak with cracked pepper and grilled sweet potato, the dishes are both well-proportioned and well priced.A hot wet towel instead of a wet-wipe is a pleasant reminder of a more gracious way of life. Although this was a first visit it definitely will not be the last. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

For Special occassion Family Dinner , this is your Place . Although it looks very Big and that you won't get personalised attention - Wrong !!!! Great Service and Great COMBO MEALS

We were 2 couples and enjoyed lunch there. The service was good as well as the food. However I ordered a Fillet on the bone, but what a disappointment. The steak was tough and still raw near the bone.Nice atmosfeer and good selection of food, but very very pricey. Waiters excellent

I had high hopes visiting this establishment. With prices noticeably higher than "normal" I was expecting a WOW factor and was subsequently disappointed.I can't really fault them in anything but the wow factor was not there and I will stick to my locals found to date and branch out from time to time.

Every year on their anniversary,the restaurant gives a steak birthday special.This tear it was their 42nd birthday,and the steak dish plus a side dish was R42.So our pensioner group trooped along again(we were there last year for the R41 special.)And we were not disappointed,despite being packed to the rafters,with eager diners,the food quality was excellent,the service outstanding and the overall experience terrific.We are eagerly awaiting,their 43 rd birthday.What a treat.

We stopped by for an impromptu birthday celebration and arrived early for dinner. No reservation. For my young girls all under 10 and my ageing sister, and my mom, we sat down to order around 5pm for a midweek surprise party. Folks were already arriving for some afternoon sundowners and we were welcomed by the friendly staff. They have the latest in the gin trends as well as my good ol' fashioned cocktails like Mojito's and Margarita's. Remember don't drive if you're going to indulge.I loved the atmosphere and decor and everyone was so relaxed, that we felt right at home. We were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable menu even my kids enjoyed the variety and awesome combo platters!Veggies and salads were fresh with no other hidden protein surprises in there... and I would highly recommend the desserts! Red velvet and the chocolate lava cake, even if there is only a small space left.Thanks again to the hostess, waitering staff and chefs. We'll be back for some more treats.

14 of us went here for our Christmas Lunch. The food, the service and the atmosphere was amazing. I went again last week for a business lunch. Again the same consistent great food and service. Truly recommend it for any event or just for a romantic dinner for two

This is a real family restaurant. The ambiance is amazing, It is always full. This is my favourite restaurant in Johannesburg. They sell such a large variety of mouth watering food. I've never ever been disappointed when visiting them. Good place for functions as well. The view is breath taking. It ticks all the boxes.
