The Village Buffet

Great find.Lovely buffet with very helpful and friendly staff.Only £10 for the food and unlimited soft drinks.There was a large party on but the food was refreshed and restocked all night.Not the biggest variety of food, especially the desserts but excellent value for money.Definitely recommended.

Joined some family for buffet dinner this evening. I have read a few reviews and was a bit sceptical. The food however was delicious. The staff were attentive and the owber/ manager came to check in with us. On the down side though, the location can be a bit off putting for families 1. Parking is a mission, 2. There are guys that hassle customers right outside the restaurant 3. When you do find parking, it's a bit of a challenge with kids.

I will be honest; when I attended I was not very hungry. Having said that I did eat a full supper and dessert.Occasion: My Gf's family dinner (for her birthday)I would suggest their braai types of food was great.The other options was not so great. The Dessert was poor. Terrible waffles, even worst ice cream. (made my stomach extremely sore).Price: I understand its an (all you can eat), we were also served Coke/Fanta in glass jugs. Fact is for the price, you could eat enough to fill you up at a much better restaurant. I understand that the beauty of a buffet is different choice, but whats the point if most of the choices are not of the best quality. Would not return or bring guests, would take my chances with a buffet place elsewhere.

Had been there before during the week and was not very impressed. This visit was for Sunday Lunch. Food was fresh, tasty, plentiful and satisfying. The service was excellent. Was indeed a surprisingly gratifying return experience. Best to visit on Sunday's.

This was my first time visiting The Village. The food was absolutely Devine. Every single dish. The reason for the title. They would have received the 5 stars ?? but their dessert was disgraceful to say the least. And the lady serving was pissed for some reason and it showed. Hope she is not on duty next time I visit.

The food was excellent and the team amazing everyone greets you with so much friendliness makes you feel part of the family from the moment you enter until the moment you leave...Highly recommended

I just happened to be walking by and peered inside to see this wonderful old building. It must be a throwback to times long gone but worth having an average meal for being in such a lovely premises. They even have proper white table cloths.

Our food experience has not been a great one. The soda (jug) and ice cream waffles saved the day, making for a very expensive meal.Their advertisement promises a 2 hour buffet experience at R130 per person - great value for money, for sure. However, one of my friends fished a piece of plastic from her pasta dish. The roti was hard - no longer fresh - and savoury rice going off.The manager attempted to compensate with a freshly made meal and "mocktail" - too sweet fizzy drink.Unfortunately they do not have a kiddie menu which leaves a picky eater with potato bake, baked potato and calamari at R100.Sadly, we will not be back and cannot recommend it to anyone unless there is a vast improvement in service quality, atmosphere and food offerings. The bathroom facilities also needs a serious overhaul.

The beef ribs were so succulent. They generally don’t do many beef ribs when they have an Indian group visiting them and that is the only thing that went wrong for our experience. With maximum beef eaters they were struggling to replenish this on the buffet spread. But all in all you must not miss this place for some good multi cuisine feel.

Was craving for some curry after a crazy night before. 11am, the restaurant was already open,the buffet ready. The staff was very friendly, had bottomless cold drink, a range of curries with great flavours, the dessert was simple yet pleasant. Great place for nice authentic curry
