The Local Kitchen Co

I really wanted to give The Local Kitchen a positive review since everyone raves about it and it's located so conveniently close to my work, but every time I've eaten here I've been really disappointed.
My first take away order I got a Mexican Boerito which was quite small and wasn't very impressive. The pulled pork wasn't bad but there was a tiny amount and other than that there was nothing great about it.
The second time we decided to sit there and eat, and again the food was a let down. I ordered the Chicken and Mushroom pie and it was only marginally better than a pie I could have gotten from the petrol station across the road.
I also ordered a berry and banana smoothie on recommendation of the waitress and it was awful... It was sickly sweet because of the jam and that was all I could taste, I ended up leaving most of it.
The owner seems nice and the service wasn't bad, but I just haven't had any luck with any of the food I've tried.
