Service 10/10: food +10/10: will definitely be back again and again. Perfect in every way. Hopefully this is one restaurant that will survive this time.

We were very excited for our Date night dinnner, but had some disappointment.Our waitress made us feel uncomfortable, (all the others were friendly and welcoming) but to us it felt like she just wanted to get the job done as quick as possible. We had to ask for our chocolate vodka martinis which were a disappointment »they should rather specify it as a warm dessert and not a cocktail. It was warm, dark and very thick, and tasted like baking cocoa - no taste of vodka and the glass used was smaller and not as advertised. We got the bill and without informing us prior, were charged an increase from R350 to R385 (they did take it off after I pointed it out).All in all my expectations were much higher.

Service was very good. Had heard a lot about the food so may have been expecting more, was a little less than I expected but definitely nothing to complain about. Very chatty and down to earth server. Covid protocols good

All restaurants are struggling at the moment. Hussar went the extra mile and we had a fantastic meal and service. Will definitely be back. They seriously care about their business and their customers. Well done!Food and service was great!

I believe they are people that has pride in excellence. From making the booking till leaving the restaurant we only received 5 star service. The food was Devine and service excellent, thank you for a great evening.

Enjoyed the Lunch time Menu yesterday at Hussar Grill. You can choose from a one or two choice offering at a very reasonable priced and although limited given time of day but had enough to please all tastes. Our waiting time was not long as the restaurant was fairly quiet in the day due to these uncertain times, but the customer service from the start was a warm welcome at the door with COVID screening in place. Our waitress Bridget a budding student chef in training was absolutely lovely. The meal was nicely presented and tasty. There is and open area at the back so you can enjoy your in meal in a covered area if the weather is warm. Would like to thank Hussar for a wonderful experience and the complimentary milk-tart liqueur at the end.

We enjoyed an excellent meal - food was delish! Most tender calamari and delish steaks and excellent service from our waiter! Was a real treat! And we could see extra precautionary safety measures where being implemented for during this time. Best part was the special they are running for 2 courses - so go support them!

Having spent 16 days travelling from Capetown to Port Elizabeth along the garden route, enjoying some fine fayre on the way we really wanted to make our last night special.The Hassar Grill delivered on every level!From the moment we arrived and told the staff we were heading home, they did everything to make our meal memorable.We ordered the Springbok carpaccio, ostrich fillet (which was cooked to perfection) and finished off with Dom Pedro's.The recommended wine pairing was also great.Great food, great service - all in all highly recommended.

I had a birthday celebration at Hussar Grill for 20 people. Outstanding service and excellent food. Highly recommended. Thank you to the staff.
