The Cow and Milk Shed - Restaurant and Bar

Went for dinner during a training course. Heard about there cool burgers and wasn't disappointed. The apple crumble desert was also pretty decent. They have a quiet side and more of a pub on the otherside. Quite cool

Lovely place for a night out. * Atmosphere = 5/5* Custom service = 5/5 (our meal came in quicker than we expected) * Food (burgers are amazing, decent portion size) * Price = 4/5 (fair pricing)Recommended.

The wait staff are excellent, however it’s clear that some of them don’t get along with each other or the kitchen staff. It doesn’t affect the service received by the customer, and while it’s amusing, it’s unsettling. In terms of food, stick to the steak. Pizzas are good, but not excellent, and relatively small compared to other local restaurants for those prices.The sides are excellent! Glazed carrots and sautéed mushrooms are doses of perfection, highly recommend.All in all, it lacks the polish that has come to characterize the majority of local restaurants. I’d go again, but at the moment there are other, stronger options.

This is the gem of East London. The waitress had a great sense of humor. Due to the pandemic they have Big Teddy Bears sitting at tables to help people keep their distance. Unfortunately the bar was closed when we visited. Our wonderful waitress showed us the Swiss cow bells in the bar. Loved the ambiance of this restaurant.The food was excellent.

This was my first visit here with family who were visting E L.It turned out to be a very good choice.We were all very impressed with the food, service and prices.Sure to be back again.

We had dinner at this lovely spot. The prices can be a bit high, but the atmospher is great. The service is good and the food yummy. There are plenty of options on the menu, some more reasonable than others. Well worth a visit.

My fiance and I had a most pleasant evening, enjoying quality cuisine with top class service at affordable prices.

On recommendation from our host we tried the Cow Shed for an early dinner!Fantastic decor once you are inside and friendly service from staff with lovely background music!!A wonderful menu, including a nice wine list available! I see they also allow corkage.If you like meat, then this is the place to visit!

hello , went there yesterday after reading reviews back in UK and then again yesterday, i nearly didn't go.. as some reviews were not good , but i decided to go as it was near to me . it was great , Great FILLET steak. diffident to UK fillet , but still lovely and the first Fillet steak in my 23 days travelling through South Africa that was Good Right.. yummy yummy yummy .. i was driving so i had a few Castle free beers, as don't like driving and drinking .. the staff were great .. i asked to change the sauce..... and baff staff said didn't think i could but asked the Manager who said yes.. was a great meal
