I was pleasantly surprised to find two of the friendliest waitrons, who absolutely made our breakfast outing so much more enjoyable. We loved the breakfast special that was way bigger than we expected for the price. Thoroughly enjoyed and recommended.

Popped in for a quick brekkie to get the day started. Usually very fussy about my breakfast, they gave me what I asked, easy as that. Could maybe shave the serving time with about 4-5minutes, but nothing major.

My partner and I visited this establishment in December and for some reason I can’t stop thinking about it. We drove 5hours to George and were so hungry so we stopped when we saw this restaurant. It started off fine but we waited AGES for our food and the restaurant was SO OVERCROWDED. My partner was watching the guy make our sushi with his mask down and speaking and laughing all over our food!! I don’t usually complain but we had just been put on alert for Covid. Anyway... so we spoke to the owner and she apologised. Then every time a staff member walked past our table, they’d put their mask on properly and then pull it back down as soon as they passed us. This applied to both waiters and both owners. Totally infuriating and by the time the food came I was so annoyed I didn’t even want to eat it!

We got served overcooked wings which were very hard and it looked like the chef tried to drown it in sauce. Wings are also very small for the price(R80 for 12). It sounded like a fair price at first. Cocktails are great when on special.

What an awesome meal again at TG last night. It's up there as being one of my favourite restaurants now.Had sushi and the fish and calamari special - was delicious.Having been diagnosed as a Diabetic just recently, I opted for the salad instead of chips, and my wife and daughter had the veggies - - very generous portions and delicious!The pumpkin fritters we got with veggies were out of the world delicious.... I could eat those as dessert Please extend our thanks to your staff. Service was fantastic too...Sorry... Was so busy stuffing my face, I forgot to take a pic

We were lucky to have chosen this venue under new management, as past reviews seem very poor. We were warmly greeted and seated and service was speedy and efficient. My husband ordered steak, egg, chips and onion rings, well priced and cooked exactly to his liking. I chose the chicken and mushroom basket, again well priced and served piping hot. The portion sizes were ideal and the food was very tasty. A very nice touch was the Manager coming to the table to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. We wish you all the best for your new venture. As suggested, a good option would be to have "specials" on certain days as price savvy customers are always on the lookout for good deals.

What a waste of money! Worst burgers in George, dry and chewy chicken schnitzel and brownish and vrot salad garnish! But the lack of respect for the customer was what got to me. I asked for cheese sauce, waiter came back to confirm, I asked if it was sauce or just a piece of processed cheese on which she replied yes and I said that I did not want that. When my schnitzel arrived it was just turned upside down with the cheese bits of the removed plastic cheese still on the plate and on the schnitzel. I will never go back.

My husband and I were out and about and felt like lunch. He fancied a steak and, as Texas Grill was close by, we decided to try it out.Our steaks were very nice, chips delicious, and staff very sweet and friendly.The venue is a little tired and it is probably a busy family restaurant on weekends, but for a mid-week late lunch, it was fine for us!

Recently visited this place with family including two kids, for a family night dinner outing, while on a garden route tour. A good menu selection is drastically let down by absolutely poor quality of food/meats. Med/rare Texan steak arrived cold and tough. Not Med at all, and steak knife could barely cut through it. Ribs arrived cold and lower rack left a sour taste in mouth. Chicken livers starter had a sweet taste and very strange smell. Having complained to the waitress, who took the main back to kitchen, we never actually got an apology from manager. The main however was taken off the bill. Definitely a restaurant I will not recommend.

Took my daughter and her friends to the restaurant for her birthday. My wife and I both had a burger & chips. It's the worst burger I've ever tasted. The patty tasted terrible... not even the mushroom and cheese sauce combined could save it. I took one bite and pushed it aside. My wife forced a second bite and then retired from that fight.The chips instead of being a golden color is dark brown and tough as hell. My little girl took a bite of a chip and spat it out.I feel robbed having had to pay R150 for 2 of the worst plates of food I've ever eaten.At least the milkshakes were nice.Never Ever Again!
