It has potential.Breakfast isnt worth getting up early for, especially in the winter as it gets cold before you start eating.Pizza evening was good, the live entertainment was a very interesting choice…In the rooms i would have loved a liquid hand soap at least.Over-all very clean, staff very friendly and helpfull.

Thx for a wonderfull stay. The food was very good. Rooms, bedding everything spotless. During the winter season it is very important to take warm jackets .....can be cold in the evening. The Hostess are absolutely excellent ....so friendly and willing to please the guest. Thanks will definitely come again.

Not a good experience at all. Place is neglected. In poor state. Food was cold and not a variety to choose from. Linen not changed. Had to look for dry and clean towels on day 3 of stay. Dogs are noisy. Dog poo outside our room the duration of our stay. No TV facilities or internet

While the locations is superb, the pictures that have indicated the accommodation must have taken somewhere else. We had a room with just 4 single beds with very bad matrasses in and two bedside tables. We had only one small window in the room. We will defiantly not go back if we don't get a room that has been displayed online. Service was great tho. Everyone very friendly. The food was ok but the buffet very overpriced.

The atmosphere is superb! Lovely quiet setting just what the soul needs. Rooms clean and neat. Friendly staff.Beautiful beach and perfect sunset. Will definitely recommend to anyone who just wants to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life.

Excellent authentic experience of the west cost. We enjoyed our stay very much. We had very nice view on the salt lake and you can hear the ocean which is just behind the dune. So it was easily accessible for a morning run/walk along the beautiful beach. The room was super clean and neat and had everything we needed.

Unfortunately the pictures on the website are not what you get, location is good but rooms are poorly maintained and the bathroom was dirty. No fridge in your room,would have been helpful to know this beforehand and theres no access to cooldrinks or ice at the bar as everything is locked and no one to help. Pizza night & seafood buffet was good but not worth what you pay. Owner and the staff were very friendly but unfortunately I dont think I will return.

Have been taking overseas visitors to Strandkombuis for many years. First time today under new management. We were not disappointed. Unrushed superb seafood buffet, very reasonably priced. Yzerfontein is a mere hour from Cape Town. An overnight at Villa Pescatore followed by Sunday lunch at Strandkombuis should be on every visitor to Cape Town's bucket list.

I came for my cousin wedding and decided to stay the night, I asked reception if they were aware of the mold in the bathroom and they replied yes we are, we have tried to clean it with bleach, the shower base was painted with a show room paint instead of an epoxy paint and the mold should have been painted over with a polyurethane paint, we didnt get heads up about the room having mold and we didnt even recieve an apology about the room state, highly disappointed in the accommodation and service recieved in such a beautiful place.

Don't get too carried away with the delicious fresh bread! I piled the fish pâté and grabbed the largest slice of homemade fresh white bread in the beginning of the buffet... what a mistake hahaha, save some room for the mains! The main course was mind blowing - all the seafood you can dream of! Everything perfectly cooked with some South African favs - pumpkin fritters...nom nom. Great live music in the background and a well stocked bar. The view is spectacular, it's not just a meal - it's an experience.
